JNTUH To submit the students attendance Including online classes and status of completion of syllabus of all UG and PG programs

In continuation of the University letters cited above, it is to inform you that as per the instruction of the Government, the University has been observing the lockdown for all the Constituent and Affiliated (Autonomous and Non-Autonomous) Colleges and classes have been suspended in the college premises till 7th May, 2020 to stop the spreading of COVID-19 pandemic. In view of this, the University has issued Lr. Nos. DAPO/CORRES/2020, dated 07.04.2020, 10.04.2020 and 14.04.2020 regarding the effective utilization of time by the students in learning activities during lockdown period and to complete the remaining syllabi by the faculty. As per the instructions, all the Principals/Directors of Constituent and Affiliated (Autonomous and Non-Autonomous) Colleges/ Units are requested to continue online classes till 07.05.2020 if the syllabus is not completed. Further, submit the students’ attendance including online classes of all UG & PG programmes for the present semester on 02.05.

Exams will be held in the month of July. Intermediate semester meaning :  The semester other than last/final semester or first semester. It has come to our notice that some news regarding examinations and academic calendar citing the reports of the UGC Committees have appeared in the media. In this regard it is clarified that the UGC constituted two committees to look into the issues being faced by the universities and colleges regarding teaching-learning processes, examinations. admissions, academic calendar and other related issues in view of the COVID-19 pandemic and country wide lockdown, to avoid academic loss and take appropriate measures for the future of students. The first committee under the chairmanship of Prof. R. C. Kuhad, Former Member UGC and Vice Chancellor, Central University of Haryana was given the responsibility to look into the issues related to Examinations and Academic Calendar, whereas. the second committee under the chairmanship of Prof. Nageshwar Rao, Vice Chancellor, Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) was asked to look into issues related with promoting Online Education. JNTUK Extension of last date to apply for Special Supplementary Examinations 2020.

JNTU-Kakinada (JNTUK) :  All the Principals of affiliated colleges under JNTUK are hereby informed that in view of COVID pandemic and lockdown of all the colleges, the last date to apply for Special Supplementary Examinations, 2020 is extended as mentioned below: Exam Registration & Last date (Revised) : Without late fee :  23-05-2020 With Late Fee of Rs.500/- :  27-05-2020 With Late Fee of Rs.1000/- :  30-05-2020 The last dates to apply for Examinations, Projects viva voce, etc which were on live on the date of start of lock down are also extended and revised dates will be informed immediately after lifting the lock down. **  NOTE :  Last date for applying the JNTUH Original Degree(OD) in IX Convocation is extended upto  11-05-2020 The  IX Convocation of the JAWAHARLAL NEHRU TECHNOLOGICAL UNIVERSITY HYDERABAD (JNTUH)  is likely to be held in the month of  May 2020  (Actual date will be notified later). JNTUH Extension of Holidays upto 30-04-2020 & Complete Remaining Syllabus by 30-04-2020 through online classes.

JNTUH (JNTU-Hyderabad) :  In continuation of the University letters cited above, it is to inform you that as per the instruction of the Government, the University has been observing the lockdown for all the Constituent and Affiliated (Autonomous and Non-Autonomous)  Colleges and classes have been suspended in the college premises till 30th April, 2020  to stop the spreading of COVID-19 pandemic. The Honourable Governor of Telangana State and the Chancellor of the University, Dr.Tamilisai Soundararajan has also conducted a Video Conference with all the Registrars of Telangana Universities on 06.04.2020 to explore the possibility of conducting online classes so that there is no dent on academic activity because of COVID -19 pandemic. For effective utilization of time, students are to be engaged in learning activities during lockdown period. In this regard, all the Principals/ Directors of Constituent, Affiliated (Autonomous and Non-Autonomous) Colleges are informed to explore suitable on-line methods to help students and facilitate the faculty accordingly amid the coronavirus (COVID-19) lockdown period. After lockdown period, the University may conduct examinations as per the instructions that will be given from time to time. The following methods are suggested to engage students in teaching and learning activities: 1.
