JNTUH-New guidelines to conduct sem exam of UG and PG courses The Principals of the colleges are informed to note the following guidelines necessitated due to Covid-19 pandemic, with regard to conduct of examinations at your respective colleges. 1) All the students and staff members must wear masks while they are on the campus. 2) Sanitizers are to be provided at the entrance of the campus/building and the security onduty must ensure that every staff member / student clean their hand with the liquid sanitizers. The security should allow those, who only wear masks. 3) Social distancing should be maintained at every place viz. inside the classrooms, laboratories, examination halls and places of common amenities like canteen etc. 4) Thermal scanning has to be carried out at the place of entry into the campus to all students and the staff. 5) Appropriate measures need to be taken to maintain sufficient distancing while operating the college buses. 6) All the class rooms w...
JNTUH Certain guidelines wrt number of attempts for clearing the backlog subjects. The University had issued certain guidelines with regard to the number of attempts for clearing the backlog subjects by the students after completion of these six attempts, the student need to appear the University exam for the subject of successive regulations. A copy of the University orders is attached herewith. All the Principals of the affiliated and constituent colleges are informed to note the same. GUIDELINES FOR CONDUCT OF EXAMINATIONS FOR THE ACADEMIC YEAR 2019-2020. 1. To reduce the duration of examination from 3 hours to 2 hours and accordingly to modify the question paper pattern, yet covering the entire syllabus. To compensate for the reduction in the duration of examination, more choice may be given while setting the question paper. The changes in the pattern of question paper may be left to the choice of concerned universities. 2. To conduct the examinations only for the final semester students of all UG and PG programmes, including backlogs. Examinations for the students of intermediate semesters may be conducted after reopening of colleges or in November/December along with odd semesters main examinations. 3. The students of intermediate semesters may be promoted to next higher semester irrespective of number of backlogs. 4.
