JNTUH Introducing new B.Tech courses with effect from the academic year 2020-21.

Several proposals are received from the Principals of Autonomous and Affiliated Colleges for introducing new B.Tech. courses from the Academic year 2020-21.

In view of the urgency, a committee meeting was held on 26.02.2020 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chambers of the Director, Academic & Planning, JNTUH to examine the proposals of Autonomous and Affiliated Colleges for introducing new B.Tech. courses with effect from the academic year 2020-21 and the committee submitted its report.

Based on the recommendations of the committee, the Vice-Chancellor is pleased to approve the following new B.Tech. courses as listed in the approval process handbook 2020-21 of AICTE, subject to ratification by the Academic Senate:

  • 56 - Computer Engineering (Software Engineering)
  • 62 - Computer Science and Engineering (Cyber Security)
  • 66 - Computer Science and Engineering (Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning)
  • 67 - Computer Science and Engineering (Data Science)
  • 69 - Computer Science and Engineering (IoT)
  • 70 - Computer Science and Engineering (Networks)

JNTUH Cyber Security and Artificial Intelligence Syllabus for R18

JAWAHARLAL NEHRU TECHNOLOGICAL UNIVERSITY HYDERABAD Cyber Security and Artificial Intelligence Syllabus for R18 B.Tech. III Year All Branches All the Principals/Directors of Constituent and Affiliated Colleges of JNTUH are requested to include Cyber Security (CS) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) courses  compulsorily  in the B.Tech. Curriculum of all Engineering branches at 3rd year 1st & 2nd semesters of 2018 Regulations  (R18)  as mandatory (non-credit) courses from the academic year 2020-21. The above said courses will be implemented from the academic year 2020-21 in the following manner: NOTE:  The attendance requirement and pass in the subjects are compulsory and the above two subjects are to be mentioned in the Marks Memos.
