KU UG/PG Promotion of students To Next Semester/year 


Promote the students of intermediate semesters to the next higher-semester irrespective of the number of backlog papers they are having.


Their examinations shall be conducted either separately during the period of pursuing their ensuing semester or along with the ensuing semester-examinations, whichever is feasible as per the UGC guidelines.

JAWAHARLAL NEHRU TECHNOLOGICAL UNIVERSITY HYDERABAD Cyber Security and Artificial Intelligence Syllabus for R18 B.Tech. III Year All Branches All the Principals/Directors of Constituent and Affiliated Colleges of JNTUH are requested to include Cyber Security (CS) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) courses  compulsorily  in the B.Tech. Curriculum of all Engineering branches at 3rd year 1st & 2nd semesters of 2018 Regulations  (R18)  as mandatory (non-credit) courses from the academic year 2020-21. The above said courses will be implemented from the academic year 2020-21 in the following manner: NOTE:  The attendance requirement and pass in the subjects are compulsory and the above two subjects are to be mentioned in the Marks Memos. Several proposals are received from the Principals of Autonomous and Affiliated Colleges for introducing new B.Tech. courses from the Academic year 2020-21. In view of the urgency, a committee meeting was held on 26.02.2020 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chambers of the Director, Academic & Planning, JNTUH to examine the proposals of Autonomous and Affiliated Colleges for introducing new B.Tech. courses with effect from the academic year 2020-21 and the committee submitted its report.
