 Examination Branch - Clarification wrt conduct of Semester Exams of UG and PG Courses

Vide ref. cited above, the Principals of the colleges are informed to note that the decision on the semester examinations, of final year students as well as other years students of UG and PG courses of all the autonomous, constituent and affiliated colleges of JNTUH, shall be taken by the State Government. Until such time, no institute should conduct any examination including mid-term examinations.

Further it is informed to watch the news on TV/news paper/University website for the update from the state government wrt conduct of examinations.

JNTUH Introducing new B.Tech courses with effect from the academic year 2020-21.

Several proposals are received from the Principals of Autonomous and Affiliated Colleges for introducing new B.Tech. courses from the Academic year 2020-21. In view of the urgency, a committee meeting was held on 26.02.2020 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chambers of the Director, Academic & Planning, JNTUH to examine the proposals of Autonomous and Affiliated Colleges for introducing new B.Tech. courses with effect from the academic year 2020-21 and the committee submitted its report. Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Anantapur In continuation of this Office circular dated as reference (1) above, where in it was directed to close all the constituent colleges and affiliated colleges of JNTUA till 31.05.2020, I am by direction, hereby inform that  All the autonomous and affiliated colleges as well as the constituent units of JNTUA shall remain closed for students till 30.06.2020  as per the Government Orders (Ref 3). The Principals and the Management are hereby informed that as per guidelines under Phase II of phased Re - opening (Unlock 1) given vide ref (3) the colleges will be opened as per the instructions of A.P State Government and the decision may be taken up in the month of July 2020.
