JNTUH Extension of Declared Holidays upto 14-04-2020 - Control and Prevention of COVID-19.

In continuation of the University Circular (2) cited and the G.Os vide ref (1) and (3) cited, the Government of Telangana have issued orders and continuation orders issued there to, that were given effect upto 31.03.2020, is extended upto 14th April 2020.

Under the circumstances stated above, the Vice-Chancellor has issued following orders to prevent for spreading of COVID-19 Virus in the State of Telangana:

i.All the Principals of the Constituent/Affiliated Colleges (Autonomous and Non-Autonomous) and Directors of all the Units are requested to close their respective Units till 14th April 2020.​

JNTUH Introducing new B.Tech courses with effect from the academic year 2020-21.

Several proposals are received from the Principals of Autonomous and Affiliated Colleges for introducing new B.Tech. courses from the Academic year 2020-21. In view of the urgency, a committee meeting was held on 26.02.2020 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chambers of the Director, Academic & Planning, JNTUH to examine the proposals of Autonomous and Affiliated Colleges for introducing new B.Tech. courses with effect from the academic year 2020-21 and the committee submitted its report. JNTUA Containment, Control and Prevention of Spread of COVID-19 - Extension of Lock down period up to 30-06-2020.

Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Anantapur In continuation of this Office circular dated as reference (1) above, where in it was directed to close all the constituent colleges and affiliated colleges of JNTUA till 31.05.2020, I am by direction, hereby inform that  All the autonomous and affiliated colleges as well as the constituent units of JNTUA shall remain closed for students till 30.06.2020  as per the Government Orders (Ref 3). The Principals and the Management are hereby informed that as per guidelines under Phase II of phased Re - opening (Unlock 1) given vide ref (3) the colleges will be opened as per the instructions of A.P State Government and the decision may be taken up in the month of July 2020.
